Spinney: Spin the Wheel
What it does.
Spin the wheel.
Make a wheel with up to 100 slices, each with its own label and colour, then fling it or tap Spin. Save your wheels, or make a quick wheel you don't keep.
Weights you can see.
Give a slice a weight from 1 to 10 and it is drawn that many times wider, with a badge such as ×3 on the wheel. Every spin is random. The weights you set are shown on the wheel.
Name picker.
Paste a list, one name per line. Turn on Remove the winner to go through a group in turn with no repeats. Teachers can use it as a name picker.
Coin flip and finger chooser.
Flip a plain coin with a running tally. Or everyone puts a finger on the screen, and Spinney picks one finger or splits everyone into 2 to 5 teams.
Honestly
What it can and can't do.
Spinney does
- Draws each result first with a secure random number generator, using only the weights you can see, and then lands the wheel inside that slice.
- Keeps your last 50 results from the wheel, the coin and the chooser.
- Shares a wheel as plain text, one slice per line, to paste into Spinney on another phone.
Spinney doesn't
- There is no hidden mode.
- It doesn't need an account or any permissions, and everything works offline.
- It doesn't send your wheels anywhere: they stay on your phone and in your own Android backup.

What Spinney reads
Privacy, in plain words.
No account and no permissions to grant, and everything works offline. Your wheels, labels and history stay on your phone and in your own Android backup; a shared wheel is plain text that you send. Full privacy policy for Spinney.
