Palindrome: Reverse Singing
What it does.
Sing it backwards.
Record something short, up to 10 seconds, and hear it played backwards. Then copy what you hear, and Palindrome reverses your copy so you can play it next to the original.
Pitch match · just for fun.
A score from 0 to 100 compares the pitch and loudness of your copy with the original. Play another round whenever you like.
Ten voice effects.
Record up to 60 seconds, then choose Reverse, Chipmunk, Deep, Robot, Echo, Cave, Fast, Slow, Telephone or Alien. Preview each one before you pick it.
Save and share.
Keep up to 50 clips in the library. Share a clip, with its effect, as an M4A audio file through Android's share sheet.
Honestly
What it can and can't do.
Palindrome does
- Applies effects on your phone to the recording, after you record, so you never hear yourself through the speaker while you talk.
- Records only while its recording screen is open.
- Saves a copy to your device with the system file picker, with no storage permission.
Palindrome doesn't
- It never records in the background.
- It records nothing while another app, such as a call, is using the microphone.
- It doesn't back up or upload your clips.
On the phone.

What Palindrome reads
Privacy, in plain words.
Records only while this screen is open. Your clips stay on this phone unless you share them. Palindrome asks for the microphone only when you first record. Clips are not backed up and are never uploaded by Moonlet Labs. Full privacy policy for Palindrome.
