Cone: Speaker Cleaner & Test
What it does.
Push the water out.
A low, pulsing tone around 165 Hz moves the speaker cone and pushes water out of the grille. Thirty or sixty seconds, with a clear progress ring.
Left, right, both.
Play each channel on its own, then sweep 20 Hz to 20 kHz to hear where your speaker rolls off.
1 Hz to 22 kHz, six sounds.
Sine, square, saw and triangle waves, white and pink noise, dual tones and sweeps, with volume and balance.
No ads while it works.
A banner sits at the bottom. A full-screen ad can appear after a cleaning cycle finishes, never during one.
Honestly
What it can and can't do.
Cone does
- Plays a low, pulsing tone that pushes water out of the speaker grille after a splash or a rinse.
- Plays test tones and sweeps so you can hear each speaker.
- Generates tones from 1 Hz to 22 kHz, within what your phone's speaker can reproduce.
Cone doesn't
- It does not repair hardware. A damaged or corroded speaker needs a repair shop.
- It only moves water, and it plays at your phone's normal volume.
- It cannot make a phone speaker play frequencies it physically can't. Below about 200 Hz most are quiet, and that is normal.
